GNS NETWORK/SERVER/DESKTOP SUPPORT

GNS Support

GNS offers complete country-wide support in all major business hubs including Durban, Cape Town and JHB.

Ongoing server, desktop and network support is available as part of a monthly Service Level Agreement (or SLA) giving clients access to our online Helpdesk (with email updates, call reporting, total hours used / remaining etc), reduced hourly rates, call priority, Telkom liaison, and a dedicated Account Manager to deal with all queries, quotes, sales, concerns, call assigning / facilitating and follow up.

Our support agreements are offered on a month-to-month basis and can be cancelled with 30 days written notice.

 

SLA Support Rates
(for clients with SLA)

Labour charge for GNS engineer / technician to provide onsite assistance when required.Travel included in hourly rate.

Third party contractors are billed at this hourly rate x 1.3 (as with after-hour work), and labour contracted on Sundays will be billed at hourly rate x 1.6. Overhours are billed at standard GNS rate of R 455.00 (excl VAT) p/hour.

Replacement engineers will be provided for sites that use a GNS engineer exclusively when he / or she is sick or on leave.

VPN & MailMarshal Support (both onsite and remote) are covered under individual SLA’s billed monthly.

Standard Support Rates
(for clients without SLA)

Specialized Support

Labour charge for specialized installations / support that does not for part of GNS VPN or MailMarshal / WebMarshal Solutions.

This would include Cisco (or other) router / firewall / complex hardware / software configurations.

                Over 100 hour contracts Subject to mandatory IT Manager role, which pricing is scalable based on requirement.                        R380.00 p/hour

 

GNS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

GNS Software Development

GNS Software Development is geared to custom design software solutions to streamline and integrate various isolated systems (i.e. accounting / stock control) using ASP.net; Delphi; Visual Basic; MS SQL DB etc. Spec is usually quoted up front – additional modules are quoted as the direction changes and are based on an educated time estimate through the procedure of the spec doc.

GNS Backup Monitoring

GNS monitors backups in the form of an e-mail log which is sent daily to GNS.

 
GNS Backup monitoring Backups are monitored in the form of an e-mail log sent to the GNS office. Backups are monitored week days, Monday to Friday, and a call is logged after 2 consecutive failures.
